Running rich and sputtering at idle

Dash lit up on my 2000 SLE and I had misfire and o2 sensor codes coming up. I changed the o2 sensor and spark plugs. Car ran great for 140m. Now it's sputtering at idle and running super rich. Could the o2 sensor I bought be bad?

was it the one near the firewall? Were did you purchase the sensor from?

Yes. Its a denso. Got it a while back at advance.

Are you getting any codes now?

It was the one by the firewall. A denso from ridge. I havent pulled the codes yet. Ill will tomarrow.

we had sputtering at idle and it was EGR valve. They can just clean it for almost next to nothing and it should fix the issue.
