Well, you guys have helped me before and now I need your valued help again......My windshield wipers are not working for some reason and I was wondering if anybody else has had this problem. I have a 99 solara. I hear the it trying to engage but they are not moving. Any help would be nice..............

First things first. Check the fuse. Replace it if you're not sure. Then pop the motor cover off, and check all the connections to the wiper motor and make sure there's nothing blocking the actuation of the arms. Then let us know what happens.

if you think you hear the motor going off, then check to see if the wipers themselves are tied down and tight.
