This may be a stupid question but.....I was looking in buying the reverse glow gauges, but all they come in is like different shades of blue, and i wanted red. so if i get red bulbs for my dash and connect the inverter would it turn different shades of red?
Sorry if its a stupid question

Nope, sorry. The gauges turn that color b\c the actual gauge faces light up. It has nothing to do with those bulbs. You might even want to take out those bulbs b\c you might get some light peaking out through the edges of the new gauges you layed over the old ones. Someone more knowledgable correct me if I'm wrong.

This is true for some folks... only if your lucky or do a really sharp job, you wont get any light peaking out... but I do hear a lot of those kinds of complaints... espeically where your odometer readings display

If you want to make your dash red.. id suggest you just change out your bulbs... refer to this thread...

its a long thread but theres a lot of Q/A... give it a shot and it looks pretty damm nice :D
