DIY on Installing Foglights...

Hello everyone....I tried searching and read all the posts. I was wondering if anyone had a link to a DIY on replacing the foglight bulbs. I bought some silverstars and am anxious to get them installed. Also if anyone has installed them, please let me know if you like them or no. Eventually I want to get yellow fogs and a HID system, but I have to spent all my X-mas funds this year....anyways. Thanks.

its pretty simple... no need to jack up car

just go under the front of your car and remove the slash guards or just open up enough so you can stick your hand inside where the fogs are at... twist out the bulb and harness (i think its counter clockwise)... remove the original bulbs and replace with your new ones... be very careful NOT to touch the bulb itself

stick it back in and reverse the process... do the same for the other side

takes about 10-20minutes for both sides depending how handy you are
Im sure those who are experienced in doing this can do it in shorter time, but Im just saying from a new person's point of view

you can try and just replace one side... turn on your fogs to compare the difference... im sure youll be happy with the upgrade

If you still have the owners manual, Im pretty sure there are directions in there. With cute pictures and such too. However, Solara Nytez's explanation is accurate and should be good enough. You will need to take out a few screws and clips in order to remove the splash guard.

I think you'll only need a socket set for the splash guards, but I forget what size attachment. If you take all the screws out, make sure you remember which go where, b/c there are 2 different sizes.

i bet you can retrieve dropped screws with ease in the engine bay too.
