Please Help me.. Front Clip

Hi People,

I have just recently messed up my 1999 solara. When the damage was assesed It was noted that i need a new front clip. I have been on the web for a while trying to find one and have no luck. I live in northern CA. Also is a front clip from a camery interchangable???? If anybody has any helpfull hints it would be greatly appricated if i could get any help with this. the front clip means they will replace the entire front end of your car like here is an integra front clip

If that was true it would be definately be totalled. Could they just mean the front bumper?

Best thing would be to call it totalled, and then buy back and buy/install a 3s motor and mod from there! (no one in the solara world has done a 3s conversion, camry=wraith, celica&Mr2=many to list). But then again, front clip is like the the jist of the car...what happened to YOUR CAR?

they will total the car if your repair exceeds the value of the car thats the only way

Yes, and if he needs an entire new front end then the airbags went off. Airbags alone cost... I'm not sure how much but it's a lot. Frame work, new fenders and bumper and headlights and radiator, who knows what else...

usually when they put a front clip on it cost alot less then purchasing all the parts separatly airbags will probably be around $1500 unlike back in the days they were like 3-5000

3S?????????????????????? are u out of your mind... MR2 only weight around 2800LBS and u put that in to solara. i have only heard people put V6 into MR2.

Well guys the car ended up in a tree. all of it is going to be out of pocket there isn't any insurance on the car. I just want to rebuild it because i got the car for cheep. I dont get what the 3s conversion is. Everything under the hood still works and the frame is straight.

replacing the front clip is cheaper then part by part thats why he will do this for you also becaus you are paying for it
if i were you i'd just do a front conversion to something else
