hey guys, ran a search, couldnt find any instructions on replacing the PCV valve, if anyone can write a lil step by step on replacing this part, i would really appreciate it. thanks

Looking at the Hayne's manual, it says it's in the valve cover. But it doesn't really show you in the picture of where it is and what it looks like. I'm looking forward to replace mine by kinda confused with the manual as well!

Replacing the PCV valve is one of the easiest things you can do. Just pull it out of the grommet on the valve cover, use pliers to move back the clamp on the hose that goes to the other end of it, remove the hose and there you go. Reverse to install. If you are still having trouble finding the PCV valve, just listen for the thing that is clicking on top of the valve cover (unless yours is all sludged up). Good luck. :D

For the 4 cylinder model I think it's easy to replace becuz it looks like it's on top of the valve cover. For V6 is different.

i kno its been a long time, but i still havent done this. does anyone have a picture of this valve cover so i can get it done? thanks!

Not really a mod, more maintenence. Kind of an emissions thing. Sends air coming out that still has gas in it back to the intake manifold.
