I want to put a 7" neon tube in my trunk instead of the stock lights, just for better visibility... will I need to change the fuse?

Like a white neon? Thats not a bad idea, though u will lose that cool circular pattern the stock light projects into the trunk  I doubt you would need to change the fuse though. If it blows change it, if it doesnt then dont. Its not going to hurt anything. Good idea though, take some pics when youre done

Yeah, something simple, I will miss those circles though. I doubt it'll be too drastic a change, just a little extra light.

P.S. Does anyone know which fuse goes to the trunk lights? I don't have an owners manual. Thanks.

ifs you put a neon tube in the trunk you do not need to replace the fuse...

look at my www link. i have a 10" blue neon tube hooked up to my trunk light and its been a little over a yr since i've installed it.. never had any problems... the neons believe it or not draw less power then the actually light bulb....

OK, so in an attempt to install this light bar, I think I blew a fuse. Now my trunk light, clock, and dome light is out. Is that a fuse? Which fuse is it?

Pull out the coin try on thr driver side closest to the door and there is a label.. it will say trunk lid light..

you must have reverse the polar when you did the install you have to be careful with install and make sure the wires are in the correct place...

I'm putting in a neon light in my trunk and i can't seem to get it to turn off when the trunk is closed. I tried wireing it directly from the trunk light socket, anyone know exactly how to wire it?

wow, this is an old thread! Props for using the search function! I'll take a look at mine for you, but I don't think I've been having that problem.
