problum with my front suspension

Postby BOLINKXR » Tue Dec 30, 2003 11:53 pm

 This is driveing me crazy ! when I got my sosara I noticed a funny nose when Im on a bumpy road going slow or going in out of a drive way. From inside the car it sounds like my bumper is radleing ,so I looked at my bumper real good and didnt find anything so I checked all my balljoints and there all good so I thought maybe I have 1or 2 bad struts and I wonted to lower my car with the new rims I bought so I put new kybs and TRD springs on the car my self ,that was a lot of fun. I put it all back together still have the same noise I started with . Im 90% sure the noise is in the suspension someware. can anyone help me Im going crazy I love my car but I cant live with that noise :(

Have you checked all your underside trim? I have a rattle in mine that is somewhat annoying from a damaged fog lamp housing. I also have had a mudguard come lose. I went looking for a major problem; so you can imagine my surprise when I found that a screw had worked its way lose.
Let's just pretend I didn't grow up, or you're going to be terribly disappointed.

there was a tsb for our front strut mounts makin that sound u were talkin about. You'll need to install the revised strut mounts to get rid of the sound.

the strut mounts should be $74.80 for one strut mount.. and the otherside on the front is $77.24... if u can get someone's discount then it'll be about $ 44 each
