My girlfriend just checked her rims and the lip on one of the rims got keyed or something... people just don't have any lives or something, or maybe just jealous... I was wondering if you guys no of any way we can get the scratches out... or take it to a shop or something... anybody please help... thanks...

If it's the lip of the rim she probably curbed it. As far as fixing it you'd have to take it to a shop. They should be able to repair it for a fairly reasonable price.

it's not on the side of the lip... it's inside, like if you look at your rims from the top view, the top of the lip is scratched... like someone keyed it or scratched it on purpose... its not her hitting a curb or anything...

Nah, it's been a week since she got her rims and everything was good when she took the car home. This either happened at her school or somewhere when parked. Anyone her knows where we could get this fixed or how we could get this fixed because its really bothering her. thanks

can't really fix aftermarket rims. you can only buy new ones to solve that eyesore it seems.

Well you can get them repaired, there is one shop down here in Honolulu that does repair rims...but it costs $$$. I was going to get one of my TRD rims repaired after I scratched it on a wall, but decided it was just more feasible to buy a new one. I'm sure you can find a shop nearby you area that repairs rims, especially if it's just a scratch. That is weird though, I've never heard of someone key'n rims before :-?

i have seen it... i was at m1 autobody and they had a BMW m5 with 20's and it had a 4" lip on each rim... they keyed the inside if the rim and his entire car... over 25K of damage.... its crazy what ppls would do here in cali....
