Ok all of you with 5spds, do you find there is a problem shifting in to sceond gear because of the seat being close enough to readh pedals and or the center console box???

I always drive with my arm resting on the console and my hand on the shifter. When I need to shift, I just lift my arm slightly to give my hand room to move the shifter to the appropriate gate. I try to keep the movement at efficient as possible. When I shift from 1st to 2nd or 3rd to 4th, I don't even lift my arm; I just flick my wrist.

no problem here. i'm 6' tall too!
i'll admit though, it is WAY easier with the TRD quickshifter, but i still had no problems with the stock shifter.

The quickshifter is a good upgrade. It doesn't change the height of the shifter, just the length of the throws. The throws with the stock shifter are pretty long.
