My check engine light went on after 2 weeks of JPP system. Toyota says the codes are the 2 air/fuel sensors. They wantw/labor 675 dollars. This type of crap makes me want to say the hell with them. I swear it is enough to make me buy another SUV ( I am thinking about a 4-runner) The have some f-ing balls.

well 200 bucks per 02 sensor, so if u need 2, that's mean 400 bucks, + 2 hrs of 100 dollars labor = 600, and tax....

They are the ones that go into the headers (formerly the exhaust manfold)
Are those the knock sensors?

The mechanic told me thge O2 sensor was near the cat. The one's in the exhaust manifold are the air/fuel sensors. The hell with toyota. I am going to the shop that did my exhaust. They won't bull$hit me.

California edition have two A/F sensors (which means cost more, and it consist of 4wires). They also called Bank1 and Bank2 sensors. We do not have O2 sensor. But the price sounds like knock sensor too.

lol, i just read my check engine light code, it was

O2 sensor lean
EGR malfunction
Cat Failure

i think just reset it and tune my e-manage abit rich will fix the problem

Very good, Ultra. I neglected to mention it is indeed a california car ( I moved back to NY 2.5 years ago). I would love to somehow install a resistive device to simulate the sensors.
