my 4 cyl. solara came with the spoiler. I know there are 4 holes that holds down the spoiler. So I take that off.....and what else? How do I get rid of the wiring?? How do I fill up the holes?

def not in the right forum man...

i dont recommend house operations:

dont forget to use tap as a backing for the bondo.

after you disconnect the 4 nuts and bolts, use bondo to cover the holes and touch up to blend.

My best suggestion is for you to go to the junkyards and search for DPW trunk lid w/o the spoiler, basically, swap out the locks..and sell your trunklid on ebay w/ the spoiler! Filling those holes in your existing lid and repaintin' will cost you more than what the spoiler will sell for....But thats what i would do...Costs you more now to buy a lid, but you regain it back if/when you sell yours back!
