High Pitched Frontend Squeak

High Pitched Frontend Squeak

Postby yamaha204 » Wed Feb 11, 2004 10:12 am

My wife’s 1999 Solara has a high-pitched right front-end squeak, passenger side. We have had it to the dealers many times, they keep telling her it is normal wear, it cannot be! It sounds like a bearing to me. It is getting progressively worse to the point where it is maddening. The last time it was at the dealers they told her it was the seating for the spring and it just needed oil. Any information will be greatly appreciated.
