IMO I would prolly be happier w/ the flywheel/clutch/LSD, just because the solara V6 5spd is a tire smoker already and the LSD would help a lot w/ the launch and out of corners and I wouldn't have to worry about all the Forced Induction drama that I read about all the time on this forum (blown knock sensors esp.). But then on the S/C side, more horsepower = :bday: . What do the rest of you think?

BTW, I am already lowered w/ intake and cat-back

Don't get a S/C unless you feel like dishing out a lot of money for other mods. Once you get a S/C, you'll realize that 4psi is not enough, and you'll want more boost, but more boost requires more mods, which equals thousands of dollars extra.

I love the my s/c it's been worth every penny. Although, I do plan on getting more power out of it with the URD kit, I am happy with the stock pulley. IMO, it's been my favorite mod so far. You won't regret it, that's for sure. I love the sound of the s/c sucking up air. I would go for the s/c first, then hit up the flywheel/clutch/LSD. I'm planning on those after the URD kit. You'll be happy with either one, I suppose. Anyways, good luck with what ever you choose! :D

If you're not ready to commit a whole bunch of money, I'd go for the clutch, flywheel, lsd combo first. The supercharger is nice, but the stock 4 psi boost isn't quite enough to satisfy. If you're like many people on this forum, you'll want to go for higher boost, which will require more and more mods. You'll want an exhaust, and then a fuel management mod, and then headers, and then a CAI, and then bigger injectors and a beter fuel pump, and on and on. It can get really expensive. If you get all that, then you'd better get the drive train upgrades, too, so that you can get that power to the ground.

If I had it to do all over again, I would get a different car. My advice would be to go for the drive train upgrade first.

Well ok, but it's a really long list:

Intake (Weapon-R)
Exhaust (Custom cat-back)
Lowered (Eibach + Tokico)

Oh, and I have a system. Does that count as a Mod?

BTW... WTF happened to this post being a Poll? I posted it as a poll and I thought it worked at first, but now I'm really confused.

You really think headers is the way to go? What kind of actual HP gains do you get from them?

lsd, fly, and clutch.... really. I think the sc made my car slower, the wheels spin through first and a bit of second if i want. Its faster, but you need to the the other 3 for more fun and build on the car. Then add the sc if you want.

i wouldnt necessarily opt for headers. imho, it just costs too much since it extends and replaces the Y pipe. just get a custom Y pipe like i did.

i cant really tell how much gain i got from the custom Y pipe, but i know it surely freed up some held breath from the old Y pipe.
