Side airbags?

I have a 1999 SLE V-6 I was curious as to know if it has side airbags?

I was told that US version has it... but Canadian versions don't.

I have a 2001 SE and ordered it with side air bags. You should have a little tag sticking out of the side of the seat back indicating the air bags. The bag deploys out of the side of the seat. It's not a side curtain - which I thought it was going to be. I recall it was a $250 option. I'm not sure they had them in 1999.

It was a factory option. It would say right on the side of the seat if it did (like mine does).

all gen 1-1.5 solaras were made in canada.

side air bags were an option and the side of the seat would be labeled as such.
