ground clearence

for those of you with a lowered solara and a TRD bodykit, how high is the solara of the ground in inches? I'm about to put my body kit on and I'm wondering whether I will still be able to fit my jack underneath my car. And whether body shops will have trouble getting my car on the rack to change my oil or something of that sort.

I'd say that there isn't a whole lotta ground clearance once you start lowering your car. I have the whole TRD Stage 3 kit, and when I got a flat, I could barely even get the jack under my car. I had to think creatively and put it around the skirt and under the car. Anyways, xxTRD69xx has the JIC Magic FLT-A2 full coilover system and dropped his baby to tha ground! peace.

aint no biggie.

depending on what type of jack you have its piece of cake.

if not, then simply use a piece of wood (to drive onto) to elevate the car. then just stuff the jack under.

I can't fit my hydralic jack under the car. I have to drive the car on top of 4 pieces of wood. I don't use the scissor jack.

Yea I don't use the scissors jack either, cause its not very sturdy, and I havea hydrolic jack that I fear will not fit under my car. Oh well I guess I will have to drive it on to pieces of wood and then elevate it.

wow... get a low profile jack. saves so much time. i got one from Napa Auto parts.

i'm probably lower than a lot of others and i just simply stick it under there from the front.
