rattling noise on cold start

when i first start the car, and the engine is completely cold, it sort of makes this rattling noise. once it warms up to like 10 degrees above the bottom temp mark, however, the noise disappears. its not a very loud noise, but i just want to make sure its not serious, and to see if anyone else gets it.
