TRD rear sway bar installation

I just got my rear sway bar, and the shop told guy told me that he is going to charge me 40$ for installation........where did you guys get yours installed? Is it hard to install by yourself? (I read the installation paper and it doesn't seems too hard for me, but the problem is that I don't have the jack to lift up my car)

It's a simple install. If ur car isn't lowered then u might be able to fit under there...
Or just get urself some jack stands

No my car is not lowered, and I asked the shop, the guy is willing to let me borrow the tool. He said if I can install it by myself then he won't charge me, but if I can't install it by myself he is going to charge me double :drinking:

forty bucks is nothing. I paid a shop 85 simply because it wasn't worth my time to be crawling around underneath my car when it was like ten degrees and snowy out. even the garage got cold and yucky.

plus I wanted to put the ignition kit on the jeep... :drinking:

I got my TRD RSB installed at discount tire in el monte.. They charged me $25.00 for the install.

I would go there if you have the time. But since your in torr. i dont know if its worth the drive. But $40.00 is not that much.. i would go for it and save you the pain of doing it yourself.

4 bolts and 2 nuts.
I'd recommend doin it urself, so it would be easier in the future if you need to relube the bushings or change the setting.

cool thanks for the advice, I got it installed for $20. I was there watch him doing everything, so I know what's going on now. I took off two more nuts then you guys, cuz he had to unscrew the pipe in order to take off the original sway bar.
