Confused on which McGard Wheel Locks to pick

Confused on which McGard Wheel Locks to pick

I am looking for a locking lug nut for each one of my wheels. I went to McGard Wheel Locks and Centercap Locks at: http://www.mcgard.com/automotive/product.asp?page=4

There are so many different kinds to choose from: Cone Seat, Cone Seat-Short, Cone Seat-Open End, Cone Seat-Tuner, and Cone Seat-Duplex. The web site doesn't even explain what each one of these is.

The lugnuts that came for my wheels were: NC12x1.5 SSR Lugnut 17H.

Does it matter which locking lug I choose as long as the thread size is 12x1.5?

Thanks

Ok I called McGard directly and they told me to purchase this:

Cone Seat-Tuner M12 x 1.5 13/16" - 25257

Hope it fits, anybody using McGard's Cone Seat-Tuner to lock their wheels?

You must be talking about these. Sure they should fit. don't see why they won't. They are ment to be applied on aftermarket wheels. I need some lug nuts and locks too. I think I should just to to local autozone. I think they sell these there.

Yup those are them. I ordered them from Summit Racing for $40 (including shipping), not sure how much they are at Autozone. http://store.summitracing.com/partdetai ... CG%2D25257
