2AZ headers update

I got the VVT-i timing specs (stole them from work lol) so it's another step forward for the 2AZ. We still need more interest though...

BTW - Our 2AZ (02-03) have the same VVT-i timing, but the 04 has a different 2AZ that has a different VVT-i timing and slightly less power (stupid emissions crap) so the header design may not have as much as a gain on the 04, if you planned on getting headers.

Also, if anyone wants to start a 3MZ headers project, let me know. I can get the VVT-i timing specs.

OT but would you be able to get the electrical wiring diagram for the 1MZ or particularly for a 2001 V6 Camry. I need the page where it show's or names the ECU plug and the two wires for the knock sensor. i.e. E8-10 or something like that. Just curious :evilbat:

I think it's a dead project unless the few of us want to put in more cash for it... =\ since the 2AZ in the 04s and the 2AZs in the Scion tC are modded to have better emissions (different vvt-i timing w/ less overlap so less emissions and 1 torque loss, 6 hp loss)

I think we just need to advertise it more!!! The moderators here did not want to put it as a sticky here :evil:

which is kinda unfair becuase there are stickies for other headers/intakes.

Even if we wait for the s/c, the headers will be different per application. The S/C is designed for the Scion tC 2AZ version, so lets make sure it's all compatible before jumping through hoops.

The best thing may be to wait for the tC launch and then get the buyers quick! Or even just have the tC header released for us to use =P
