I did the search and saw how to take them off but I have one question that wasn't awnsered for me in the forum. Does it really show a difference where the emblem was? I mean does the paint fade that much? I guess it makes a difference on how the car was treated and where you live and all but besides that with just normal wear? Sorry for bringing this up again but I just needed to ask where the other forums didn't awnser my question.

You're correct, it'll depend on what conditions the car was subjected to (sun, garage kept, age, ect.). My car is red flame metalic. Even though my car is garage kept, when I removed the emblems, it showed. It wasn't real bad though and it didn't take long at all until you couldn't see it at all. -JoeB

Were is that thread? I want to know how to get rid of some color fading due to the removal of emblems. The most obvious one is the Toyota symbol in the back. (I tried touch up paint on one piece and I just made it worse!) More obvious now.

My emblems are still on, but from what I hear, about a week or two in the sun should fade everything together nicely.

Yup, and wax your car allover. I just had some pinstripes removed and you cannot tell AT ALL!! I have a 99 Diamond white ride with 72K; it's been outside a bit, but looks tight without those damn peeling stripes!
