Postby cydog3 » Thu Mar 18, 2004 5:50 am

I took my 04 solara sport in for left drift. I don't belive my vin was part of the tsb but it still has the left dirft.

Thay cross rotated the tires and adjusted strut mount plate. The car only drifts alittle now .

My question is WHY did they adjust the strut mount plate ??????????

Thanks

I hope that your not going to settle with the car drifting a little. I have an 04 that has had the left drift problem since day one. It has been in the shop six times and it still drifts to the left. It has got better , but when you pay over $20,000 for a NEW car it should be perfect. Read my post that will follow about my problem

Good luck

For me, my car car went down 4 times, and finally on the 4th try they got it. They turned the struts 10degrees (whatever) and it got fixed totally...knock on wood

cydog3,
My dealer replaced my left and right strut assembly and performed a 4-wheel alignment which corrected my problem. Does your car continue to drift left or does drift a little to right?
