2.7 pulley without S-AFCII

i HAD an S-AFCII which i planned to tune when i swapped my pulley to a 2.75 one. now it's broken. iono, fuckit. anyway, i was wondering if i can just run the car with the 2.75 pulley for now without the S-AFCII, and NOT blow a knock sensor.

is that possible if i don't "punch" the gas alot?

My first reply got lost with some of the others. I definitely wouldn't recommend it. If my numbers are correct, that is just over 6psi. I had 2.8" = 6psi and 2.6" = 7psi. If it was possible to run 6psi on pump gas at sea level safely, TRD SURELY would've sold the sc with that. 4psi for a sc application gets no respect. -JoeB

trying to just slip by has never been a good result for anyone.. don't upgrade one thing unless ur willing to have the rest come w\ it... remember upgrading one thing is making some other part weaker
Parting out my car!!! great upgrades for sale!

actually let me edit that post. what i mean to say is that, i have ALREADY swapped my pulleys out. but after i swapped it out, my S-AFCII crapped out. i can feel the belt slipping when i do punch the gas pedal.

i have the smaller belt to accomodate the pulley. should i change out the belt and drive "normally", or is it okay to just drive with the belt all loose and such?
