TRD RSB Prices and Ordering Questions

Postby TheTamago » Wed Mar 31, 2004 9:39 am

Well. Called up some of the local toyota dealers for their TRD RSB Prices and they pretty much avg @ $189 w/o tax(AZ 8.5%)

http://www.toyotaparts4u.com/
http://www.toyotaparts4u.com/solara_rear_sway_bar.htm $144 +$9 S/H

Found this website to be most resonable I suppose but is this eCom site realiable to order from?

Did my HW already on RSB installation/setup already in the forum. Since I'm not good with my hands with tools and stuff(real reason.. super lazy). I'll take it to a mechanic shop like Jiffylube or something and price around for charges on installation and alignment with track setting.

Nearing 41K miles on my 2000 SE automatic. Switched over to a TRD air filter already @ 40K. I'll be doing my struts and springs later if I can find a job again....

ToyotaParts4U is trusted. I got my RSB there for the same price as you. It is actually cheaper than my employee discount (10% over cost) over here x_x now that's sad lol. The employee disc. price was 154 + tax

Definately order from him. He's a great guy plus we'd be helping out a fellow toyota owner

Spoke with Eddie. Ordered. Will Take about 2weeks as he said it'll take about 5days to reach him then to ship it off to me.

Should I start pricing around the mechanic shops for install fees?

i order from toyotaparts4u with front and rear break pads and shipping only like 8 bucks for all in 2 boxes... they come in like 10 days or less, i think because they have to order it from TRD which take 5 days. Still haven't installed yet, no TIME...

Got it this Monday (4/19/04) and was installed. ALthough I wasn't willing to drive that much so i dished out $70 for the installation as I couldn't find any place that would either install it, or charge at a cheaper price. Set it to track which is the inner most holes. Was done at a Brake Masters shop nearby my place. Pretty good. Where I live, its on a main street and I usually turn in fast at about 20mph into the entrance where I usually feel the car tilt to the side. Now when I did it today after the installation.. hardly any tilt and this is still on the stock suspension @ 41K mi. on the car. My lil car is becoming a happy lil I4 :)
