My car needs some new rollers ASAP. A friend of mine had these ADR Kasai rims on his Accord coupe for like 6 months and he just sold the Accord and got a g35 so he's offereing me these rims with Hancook Ventus tires that have less than 100 miles on them. The deal is a good one but I wanted people's opinions on the rims.

They're 18x8 and the tires are 225/40/18.

Not a big fan of the chrome finish...but a good deal is a good deal. These go for about $620 on ebay and if you can get them for less then that price with Ventus tires then I think it is worth considering.

Chrome sucks, they will eventually flake off. When you have to repair them, you pay double the price.

And I heard bad things about ADR before I believe.

I always hear that, but actually one of my friends has Chrome wheels on his suv and they are not one of those expensive wheels. He takes care of them and actually they are just like new after a little over two years now. He simply uses one of those chrome polishers you pick at Autozone after each car wash.

I think those would look nice on your car!!!

Chrome with black is hot, but is ADR reliable?

As far as the chrome goes, if you take care of it, aka polish or clean them almost every day, they'll be fine. Chrome wheels need to be taken care of.

ADR is a pretty good company. I haven't heard too much bad things about them. I was about to get some ADR Fuel rims about 6 months ago But i went with arospeed instead.

But The chrome will flake only if the car wash you go to use some of the acid crap and kills the paint on your rims. Its some kind of rim cleaner. I would just watch out for that. But the chrome wont peel from normal driving conditions.

IMO i kinda like them except for the chrome part. But if you like them I would get them. thats if your getting a good deal...

I think those wheels are pretty sweet. I have some Alessio chrome wheels, and although I kind of dislike them because they're heavy, they still look great after almost two years. To be honest, I don't even really take care of them. I wash them only every 2 weeks or so (sometimes only once a month), and just use car wash soap on them. But so far, so good. I don't see any signs of tarnishing like I see sometimes on other chrome wheels.

Well, I decided to buy them. Paid $450. They are chrome, but not like the super brilliant chrome like in those pictures, they're more like a hyper silver finish. Anyways, I'm gonna get them put on this weekend. I'm gonna wash and wax my car too so I'll get some pics up.

I got ADR Rims and I've had no reason to complain about them, so I say they're good rims. Not a fan of chrome, but that's your personal preference.

You should have done a poll. Get some numbers.

I especialy love when its sunny out and when you roll it almost blinds you. I seen a coupld of cobras with some sweet chrome rims that shine so bright. I know it will look great on our cars.

I have put over 50k miles on my ADR wheels w/o any troubles, so I am inclined to agree.
Let's just pretend I didn't grow up, or you're going to be terribly disappointed.

nothing wrong with chrome. if you want them to shine get them re-chromed and keep them clean...then it will look nice.
