I agree, it does just seem like he's using this site as a reference and to me it doesn't appear like he's doing anything wrong...but it is a bit misleading

"Please take the reference to my forums off your auction. We do not support your products nor will do we have anything good to say about them."

I am going to lock his account on SolaraGuy.com for the time being since I find this a dirty tactic by him.

I encourage everyone who reads this message to give him a call on his toll-free number (800)501-3299 to let him know just how you feel about this. He is taking advantage of our community and the good reputation that we built.

I also encource everyone to send him a message via their online form to let him know that we do not endorse his product and that he should remove the reference from his auction.

James has hooked up many solaraguy members before. He wrote me an email wondering what the hell was going on. He promised to change the auction to reflect the direct link to his thread.

I think we all need to chill out and act mature about this. Its rediculous.

Mookie is calming down. And I am glad that James worked something out through one of the mods (Thanks Ross). I just wish that James would have ran that by one of the mods or myself before using SolaraGuy.com on an auction. In hindsight I can see that I overreacted a bit also. I would just ask that if SolaraGuy.com is to be referenced for anything for profit that we be given notice.

Glad we came to a peaceful resolution.
As a way to say he is sorry, James is going to offer another group buy soon. He'll keep us posted.

Although the origional thread was deleted, many members bought the leather kit and were very happy. Katzkin leather is a great product.

BTW - it probally sounds like I working for him or whatever but I am just helping out a friend, as he has done for many other solaraguy members.

Remember: He is a member of this forum too.
