Installing TRD springs 04 solara

Postby SimplyRedSolara2004Sport » Tue Apr 06, 2004 3:35 pm

If you feel that the ride is fairly stiff with the stock setup the TRD springs will make it feel a bit more stiffer because of lowering.

We don't have an ETA for a supercharger at this time.

How much is the drop with the lowering kit from TRD? and are you compromising looks over comfort?

Is there a supercharger for the car available or in the works, then?

I took my Solara up to 140 like nothing up the Pacific Coast Highway, looking to reach the 160 and beyond when I drive to the Grand Canyon. However I would imagine more speed or faster acceleration due to a super charger would mean more fun.

Springs drop is 1.2 in the front and 1.4 in the rear .. TRD Springs are progressively wound to produce good ride quality during normal driving and a firm ride with increased speed.

Now what is good a good ride that is the question. I figure worse case is I hate it and can always put it back. I just hate doing this much work on a car that just hit 1000 miles

You had your car up to 140 I thought they shut off at 130 ????????

I still wonder if lowering the Sport version is a safe thing to do since it has ground effects? Has anyone contacted a dealer for an answer?
