Then it became apparent that they would cancel the project due to a lack of interest. They're looking to sell in large volumes, not just do special projects for a few people in a couple forums. So basically the guy told me that they would work on more important stuff first(more demand) and then get to the CAI for gen 4's or cancel the project completely. My guess is the latter. Just buy Danny's kit. I bought the whole Injen+CAI intake and it was worth the money. Noticeable difference for sure.

Danny's kit won't work with the i4 (2AZ-FE) will it?

I just barley made it (the extension) fit on the (5S-FE) so if you can someway connect the short ram to the extension try it out. All on your own risk. Toyota dealer (service) checked mine it out and they said the car ran perfect while connected to their computer. I got a CE light but that is not affecting performance.

I posted a question about the CAI on the AEM Forums:
http://forum.aempower.com/bbs/viewtopic.php?t=7750

The end result: "This part will not be released.... atleast not anytime soon."

Total bummer... :(

Ok I just ordered the Injen Intake from Overboost, and the Cold Air Extension from UPFD for $100. I'm going to install the extension and hopefully it goes smooth like yours! It's suppose to ship out this Thursday/Friday.

Thanks for posting the installation directions. Hopefully the 5S-FE is not much different from the 2AZ-FE :-?
