This is in referrence to one Ripp Modifications Supercharger Kit. $3399.00
I'm trying to take a poll and see if anyone is willing to put money down to place a hold on a Super Charger Kit. What is the most you would be able to put down within a month or two and eventually have the full remaining payment within 9 - 12 months?
:onfire:
A) $100 - $200
B) $200 - $500
C) $500 - $800
D) $800 - $1000
E) Other: Post the amount.

Ok...Just called and got some more info...

Anyone wanting to put a kit on hold would need to come up with 50% down and have pay off within 10 months (My Case). Get with them if you need more time. I can't speak for them on that.

You need headers to complete the kit so that's an additional $429.00 (You can always buy the headers seperatly if you want)

Total price $3695.00 w/headers
Total Deposit: $1847.50
*This does not include any shipping or instalation cost. Strictly for the kit and headers. The headers come complete with downpipe and high flow catalyst.

I should have the deposit soon and the remaining balance paid on Febuary 2005. Getting closer! This is the fun part.

Yeah but I don't need anymore monthly car notes. I'm almost done. Just turned in my 02Sienna lease so saving more money per month. Like $518 with the reduction in insurance! Got one car now but it's worth saving the money. Kids gona rid in the Solara now! With everything you get in the kit its well worth it.

I'm really tempted, but I've already had my car for awhile and I am getting up there in mileage, at this time it makes more sense for me to save up for a newer car. $3695 is alot and we only gain around 40-50hp?

If you want another car then thats understandable. It's realy up to you. You must be mistaken for the TRD supercharger for the v6 application. This kit gives you everything you need to double the hp from stock and has potential for more with more.. Blower/fuel/ECU blackbox/boost wather/methenol cooler ect...
Stage 2 coming soon... goal: 300crankhp & 250@wheels

double the hp from stock!? can the 5s-fe handle that much forced induction? I dont think this engine is built for that much wear and tear.

As far as trial and error. One guy added the kit @ 88k miles and has driven over 3000 miles with no major issues. Just minor issues like leaking and needing replacement gasket which fixed the problem. Something you would end up doing anyway. The kit was designed to run safely.

If a leaking gasket is the only flaw its probably worth it.
