Does anyone know what to use to get that ugly airbag warning sticker off the sun visor without ruining the visor?

but wouldn't it be all yucky underneath?? kinda like when you take a sticker off of the bottom of a shoe you bought?? lol..well, i don't think guys have a problem w/ that, but any solaragurls out there might now what i'm talking about.

better example..when you take a sticker off of something and it leaves reside that you can never seem to get off.

i know baby oil works, but you can't put that on cloth..can u?

yea, i think it's best not to mess w/ it..i have a feeling it's one of those things that you'd wish that you'd never mess w/ it after you touch it.

unless of course you can buy/order one of the visors before they slap the old warning sticker on.

back to the lawsuits, they have to slap it on there or some idiot will sue when their baby in a carseat is killed b/c they "claim" they never knew you shouldn't put a carseat in the front of a car w/ an airbag...ahhhh..people make me sick

Used googone to remove mine. Removed visor(s), apply and let googone penetrate sticker, carefully peel/scrape off. Took about an hour.

How does it look? Clean or is there junk under where the sticker used to be?

I hate that crap, and they're showing up in all sorts of cars now, too. I mean, my dad just spent 40k on an Infiniti, and he has some retarded sticker stuck to his interior right in front of his eyes. You'd think the dealer could just have you sign an acknowledgement of the dangers of having airbags or something if its a legal issue.

I agree it may be ugly, but what if your dad sells it. Then the next owner does not get the warning.

Rechecked, I actually used a product called Goof Off. Same class of cleaner. Came off clean.
However, I wouldn't be surprised if it's illegal to remove them.
Apply several applications of cleaner, allow to soak thru sticker.
Stuff evaporates quickly.
I actually had 1 come off in a single piece!
Don't damage the "fuzz" when scraping.
I actually used my fingernail to scrape, but I wouldn't recommend it.
