TRD body kit redo where to get the 3M tape?

Postby esculatus » Mon May 03, 2004 11:42 pm

it's been two years since I put on my TRD body kit. Recently, I notice the passenger sideskirt is kind of slowly falling apart. Anybody know where can I order the 3M tape and primer similar to what I got when the kit first shipped to me?

Thanks

eric

make sure you get 3M industial strength for a stronger hold. Try GIJoes or home depot.

Should be the one that is meant for outdoors and says "Holds up to 5lbs". The tape itself is black/grey, and the backing is red.

I bought mine from AutoZone...they have (well had in 2002) some thing called 5lbs 3M double sided tape. Its not as skinny as molly designs but almost a inch in width. They have some old tricked out civic on the packaging...but then again thats from 2002 - so packaging could have changed since then. (it was close to $50+ for the roll)...i asked autozone if they would sell me a portion and i bought some 20 dollars worth of it. It was my fronts that were sagging..not my sides.
