Hello guys!

I'm planning to get some clear corners from ebay
I did a DIY a few months ago and cracked the corners...so I'm gonna just replace them

well...there seems to be a few different dealers on there, any suggestions on what NOT to buy? or are they all quality stuff?

give me a hint!

God bless

keep in mind ebay has clear corners for only the 99-01, none are available for the 02-03

theres 3 kinds of clear corners:

Regular Clear corners- its basically the stock corners w/o the reflector
Euro Clear corners- the lens on this does not have the inside ripples and is flush with the headlights... only downfall to this one is that you see the bulb stick out like a sore thumb
Blacked-out corners- from what i remember they're now selling these?

if you do a search for "clear corners" from Yanks0114 he posted waaaaaaaaay back when (??) about the difference... or just search ebay yourself and ull see what i said above[/b]

Hey Kevin. I just bought some clear corners myself and I got the euro ones. Like he said above the bulb sticks out like a sore thumb and doesn't look very nice. Even with a clear one it looks pretty bad. I just decided not to have one at all and patch up that hole to make it look better. I know I won't have a signal up front anymore but I honestly very rarely use it anyways ( I know, I know bad habit I need to break). Anyways I'd say the best choice is the euro ones because they look the best to me. Just make sure you get all the little clips in there tight so it's nice and flush.

If you find some silver coated bulbs, even if they're sticking out they're tough to spot since they blend in with the silver housing and give off no amber or blue glare in the sun. You can buy them so they light up white or legal amber. Find em on ebay!

Nope, no bs...IMO for $10 they're worth it. You may want to double check the bulb type, but for 99-01 it should be 1157.

No sunlight on em in the pic but trust me they look better than the colored bulbs IMO, and as long as you get the one that lights up amber cops shouldn't hassle you.

Check my WWW for pics of both.

Theres another kind of clear corner too...Its like the "regular clear corners" except it doesnt have the space cut out for the reflector either...the chrome housing is flush with the rippled plastic. I think Geminimouse has one of these, but I cant find them anywhere.

I hope I don't regret it. I mean it was only 17 bucks but that's a lot for some bulbs that won't get used that often. It'll be awhole lot better than amber bulbs in there or even clear ones. You said make sure I got the ones that blink amber.... there wasn't anything in the ordering process that let me choose. Was I suppose to tell them I wanted the ones that glow amber? I hope not cuz if I was supposed to then I'm not getting them
