Problems with my car =(

First off, my car had some standing water in the trunk and was making it a horrible experience for my nose. It was in the spare tire compartment in the back, I assume it was from the torrential rains we were having here in Louisiana. Aside from that, my horn is sounding wierd. Not only that, but when you use the automatic locks, the noise is no more. I know that sounds weird, but you know how it beeps when you lock and unlock, mine doesn't do it anymore. You can hear a click under the hood when you do it, 2 for unlock and 1 for lock. I wanted to know if anyone can help me out with the second problem, I think I got the first one under control.

Haven't posted since I joined, but hey, school is time consuming and sux.

The horn is gone, it might soaked in the water. The clicking noise you hear was the relay is working and therefore means the control unit and relay still working fine. only the horn is bad. if you have gen1 or 1.5 solara, you should able to find it on wrecked 97-02 camry. The trunk water might came from loosed tail light or bad weather strip.
good luck

I'd let it dry out completelyt..and then take it an alarm shop to have them guage it first before installing a whole new unit. Rains in TX have been bad too...sometimes i wish my sol was a suv!

Yea at my College, the parking is horrible to start off with. To make it even worse, add water. I had to wade through a lake to get to my car, and then drive out of it, so I know it messed some stuff up, I have to take it somewhere to see what exactly got messed up. I know for a fact that my right taillight is leaking now. Which sucks total ass, I need a good body shop to do the work and get it fixed right this time. I did not like the job that the shop did fixing it. Beyond that, I'm going to start a new job soon, and hopefully get some stuff done to my car. Which at the moment needs to be cleaned, badly.

heh, thx for the help guys
