Hello everybody,

Just last week i bought my red 99 v6 5speed. damm it was hard to find. I have just relized that i have saved up to much money, and i have to spend all of it. So i am in the process of building the loudest system i can, cheak this out. - Rockford Fosgate 1501d 1500watt rms amp pulling three rfd-2210's all 500wat rms. Rocford fosgate 800x amp pulling Fanatic Q FNQ3514 compont front end with rockford fosgate FNQ3406MB speakers in the back. All of this is held with a RFteam 25 farad cap. All this took so much power that i upgraded the alternator to 150amps from Mr. Altinator. the system tops of with a KENWOOD DDX-7015 HU!!. and the system ends with a sirus radio and a custom trunk and a lot of dynamate. there is how you blow 3.000 easy. only thing left is a new clucth trd exhaust and short shifter, my project should be done by next week 5/28/04. get ready for pics weeks that day

I would have blown it on a supercharger, but it sounds like you'll have one hell of a system.

I wanted to add the some trd componets i just dont know how stable they are. i mean the bodykit is just perfect, but living in brooklyn comes with the disitvantage of potholes, so that might be at some other point. i was most intrested in the short shifter and the trd clucth because the car has 110,000 PA miles on it. plus i do deliver and it might need to be changed as a result that i never had a stick before. gee learning is fun. any other recomendations?

The idea is in the right place, but the Rockford stuff could be switched out with some better quality equipment like Eclipse (for the h/u), USamps, Orion (amp and subs) or Zapco (amp). Its alright though. I would check out some Adire Audio, Digital Design, Resonant Engineering subs for the good stuff. I think the cap is unnecessary, another battery would be better if you needed that much more power, but I do not believe another battery is warranted with the approx. 200 amp peak you'll draw with that stuff.

I will commend you on the alternator work though. Good job! :D

see this is the thing. the only reason i went with all rf stuff is because i had those subs for close to a year. before the solara i had a 95 jeep grand cherokke. those three subs where in there and it sounded loud enough to get a great massage. but seriously i cant part with them, just like em too much. i wanted to get the elipse HU but for like my boys but for 3gs it wasent worth it. they kenwood was the clooset thing to it, in looks and features anyway. and it cost 3 times less. always a plus
