Anyone have a calculated guess to how much weight I can put in the trunk... I have a V6, and stock springs and 17" rims SLE.

I need to buy a lot of cement bricks to build a patio... and will be making a few trips to home depot, and obviously do not want damage the car in anyway.

I'm guessing around 500 lb's or so is a safe number... but I really have no clue.

Go to Lowes!! 8) :wink: But to answer your question im not sure, i would ask the guys there how much that stuff weighs and take it from there. Make a few trips if neccesary, or just have them delivered.

Hey dude!!

Have it delivered, or rent a truck. It is not designed to carry brick blocks; it's for groceries, golf bags, or even your mother-in-law.

yeah, don't try to overload the trunk w/ things like that.

just rent a truck. its cheaper to rent a truck from u-haul rather to spend $$$$ on repairing things that can break in the trunk.

I wouldn't put 500lb of bricks in the trunk of my SLE :roll:
Actually I wouldn't put any bricks in my SLE at all - there are trucks for this...
