Whenever i back up and i brake .....the brakes squeak but when I'm driving they are fine anyone have a logical explanation for this happening?

it may be an early indication your brake pads are wearing down.

pick up some brake pad gunk, that stops squealing.

place it on the shims (squealers) and then you should be fine.

the one i have is sort of red/pinkish color.
