How to extend your battery cables for an Optima Battery

I am talking about the actual crimping tool. I have a crimping tool like yours with all the different functions, but I feel it struggles with even 8 awg wires and acessories, let alone for 4 awg.

I broke down and soldered it with a torch.

i have 1 where you set the crimper on the ground with the crimp in it but the wire in and then hit it with a hammer and it smashes it down but i used -2 "double nought" wayyy over kill but i had all the stuff layin around and i used it on my friend camry but they sold the camry like 3 months ago.. ill look 2 see if i can find my pics
