changed battery, cold start is odd

My battery died last week and I had to replace it. The next morning, my car was acting funny. In the past, when I started up the car in the morning, it would rev up to 1500-2000. Now, when I start the car for the first time in the morning, it only revs up to 1000. I reset the Ecu already and its still doing this. The car is running different also, it just doesn't feel the same (maybe its in my head). It idles perfectly fine, but feels like its struggling. Anyone have this problem before? Do I have anything to worry about? Info and solution is appreciated Thanks..

when you reset the ecu, did you let the car idle?

check your air filter, maybe something is clogged.

you might want to re-reset the ecu again.

maybe u should give it week or so, resetting the ecu causes it to relearn everything again, like adjusting timing ur driving habits etc.

it only takes 10 mins at most for the ecu to re-map everything.

By rev do you mean idle speed? That sounds high for idle. After cleaning my air filter and battery (coincidentally resetting the ecu) my V6 idle levels out at a buttery smooth 500 rpm.

Not idle...i meant how high it revs when I first warm up the car first thing in the morning. When it warms up, the idle is actually fine, but the car still doesn't feel right.

Thanks, I don't think i let it idle that long when I reset ecu again. I'll check my filter. Hopefully thats what I did wrong, this never happened to me in any of my cars, so I'm getting kind of worried.
