wheel locks

You definatly need new lugs b\c the new rims will rquire acorn shaped lugs as opposed to flat ones like the ones that come on our car. I got spline lugs. They have 7 teeth. I can't see wheel locks doing much since it's incredibly easy to get a key for them, at least these need an adapter and owuld be slightly harder to steal.

With wheel locks, make sure that the mechanic does not overtighten the locking lug, or it will get out of shape and become nearly impossible to take off without a special tool. I took mine off (McGard) because of a similar situation. The lock was oval shaped instead of round... I don't run them anymore, but then I have stock wheels...
