it appears when there's a brake light failure and only appears after you hit the brake...mine's always on because i have an aftermarket OEM style spoiler that has the wrong output on the LED brake light

have someone de-press the brakes while you go and check to see which one of the bulb(s) is exactly out...Its kinda hard to do both things at the same time... :fadein:

Its the rear brake light failure indicator. Mines also on all the time, since I pulled out my third brake light when I put my spoiler on. I just yanked the brake indicator bulb, since I cant fix it without rewiring the spoiler light. To check all the states, put your parking lights on, flick the hazards, and have someone step and get off on the brake. Might be something loose if it only happens when you go in gear.

If u need a hand on checking it out, feel free to gimme a call or PM me.

im pretty sure its the light blub. same thing happen to me. i think the reason why the light still turns is becuase it has two filaments? one side is burnt it the other is not and it appears to be on, but when you step on the brakes it goes out. just change the blub its only like 3 bones at kregans or something.

if it happens when u shift into reverse then it's ur reverse lights.
push on the brakes and it comes on then it's ur brake lights.
etc. etc.
