sorry im getting back so late, sale day and all. I was online looking up the specs on that puppy. very nice amp. a couple of things though, first iasca states a current draw of that size go back at least 16 feet, should have a wire gauge of no less than 2guage. second keep the futrue in mind if you do want to add a mono amp down the road, you will need a larger guage, personally i feel you should go with 0 gauge only for the fact that you got a nice monster there. also keep in mind that your stock solara alt. is only 80 amps. running it stereo at normal gain settings with 4volt signal coming in, power consumption should be about the40 amp range, at time jumping up another t 10 or so. but if you do add the sub amp, you will have a conflict with your stock alt and that amp. Your amp will win and easily. I always set my customers up for the big picture, get your self at least one farad cap, and a good dist. block as well as ground block. that way when you do get the amp it's just a matter of plug and play with everything already there. second, what everyone forgets is kristoff's current law stating that the sum of the input MUST be equal to the sum of the output. So make sure if you use 2 or 0 guage to run power make sure you upgrade you ground wire to 2 or 0, which ever you us at the battery to properly complete the cycle. Youll even notice she starts better and quicker. Eventually youll will burn out the alt.( i know it sucks) so make sure you have money saved up to get a good one from ohio or any other trusted retailer, TO MAKE POWER YOU NEED POWER. no matter how many amps you have you will never produce more than 80 amp worth of power. if you do the mathof 80 x's 14.4( average voltage when the car is on) you get about 1100 watts of power, taking into account of resistance and what portion is lost to heat, with that amp you'll get no more than 500-600 watts peak. rms brings you a little lower. with a high amp alt. you will rock nice loud hard and clean! as far as your head unit, you already got so invest in a good pro line driver of about 8vlots. the reason that amp is so expensive is for that reason of taking such a high signal. might as well use what you paid for. It be like spending 20 grand on a suspension system to only go out and race quarter miles.

see what i mean? try to get the most out of that amp, she's a beauty. hopefully this helps or did i just rant again and confuse the f out of ya?
