Yes, the 1MZ-FE in the Gen-1 Solara has the DIS Simultaneous Ignition, typically called waste spark, that is mentioned at the bottom of page 11. A good description of how it works is starting at the bottom of page 6 and goes to the bottom of page 9. -JoeB
