You guys are great! I appreciate the support and encouragement you are providing. I'll go ahead and print all the instructions you all have provided me, and give it a shot. One quick question: do I need to solder the wires or can I simply twist them together?

I didnt have to solder anything, but i guess that would be up to u my friend. Same about the crazy glue, some people have used it, some dont. It's all about ur own personal preference really. Once you get it all apart you'll see what i mean. I only remember the ground and the power wire, the ground is under a screw, the power i got it going to the fuse so that anytime i get the parking lights on, the gauges come on... other than that, i dont remember any other wires ... (??)

Do whatever you prefer, just make sure it's very secure. After you install it for the 1st time, you'll be able to do it in <5mins.

Isnt it like that with everything? I spent 1 hour doing my fuel filter yesterday. If I had to do it again I could probably get it done in 10 min.

meh?

Does anyone with the PCP reverse gauges have problems with light leaking out from behind?

Yes, IMO that's really the only flaw with these kits. Dimming the lights, like Mad Installa said, will help.

Weak! If you dim, you also dim the needles and tach and everything else on the dashboard like clock and a/c. I dont have the gauges yet but I will soon. Can you tell/show me exactly where the light leaks out from? I may try covering up these problem areas with electrical tape during the install.

Ok so there are four dedicated bulbs for the four needles? What about the odometer?

Its 5 bulbs, but you need to take one out to route the wires for the gauges. (Usually take out the rightmost one, since the needle seldoms get to the right side of the tach anyways, and its already lit in red by the guages)

Those four bulbs light up the needles, backlight for the guage cluster, and the odometer.
