Anyone know where to buy colored bulb covers for interior (194 and 2721) lights? I think people on the boards have also referred to these as mini bulb condoms. I would sharpie or hobby paint them but im worried about durability and consistency of color.

www.autolumination.com has 194s and 74s (2721s) bulbs in 6-8 colors, so you dont need to buy bulb condoms.

Also, Ive found them hard to put on once you take them off anyways.

those bulbs from autollumination (atleast the blue) don't light up blue, they don't really have enough of a coating on them. I ended up using a sharpie on the blue ones to make them bluer and it looks great now

Its because those bulbs cant be really blue, since inclandenscent or halogen bulbs naturally light up yellow, which it is really hard to get a true blue from with just a coating. Only with the LEDs can you get a true blue.

I used a sharpie on the autolumination blues too, and I found that when getting it dark enough to get a deep blue, it blocks too much light.

I got an LED for my dome light, blue color. You can't go wrong with it. I got it off of e-bay.
