Rudy,

You're a driving FOOL...jk. Highway mileage I take it? Have you been doing the recommended tune up as well?

high mileage

Postby Sentinel » Tue Jun 22, 2004 6:49 am

I've got a 2000 I bought just a few months ago with 108 on it now. I guess that's more per year, but less total. Not that I put those miles on. I figured in order to drive a car 25+k a year the miles would have to be highway. She runs great, hell it's the only car i've ever been in that has no rattles!
Here's to 200,000+ smooth miles!

Adam2562 has 143k, so he's got you beat pretty bad. I'm sitting at 112k.

My mileage

Postby red2002solara » Tue Jun 22, 2004 12:10 pm

I have an 02 Solara with 54,000 miles on it. I bought it with 29,000 miles on it a year ago. I put a hell of alot of miles on all my cars, except my Escape, so for me this is normal. All my miles are 90% highway. But hey, wouldn't want to be cruising in anything else but my wonderful Solara.

DAMN! I thought I had a lot at 68k. I bought it last year in June with 39k. That's 3 trips to Portland, 2 trips to Vancouver BC, and a hell of a lot inbetween. I'm gonna hate changing my timing belt and water pump soon.
