wassup you guys. umm i have this weird noise coming from the back passenger side by the speaker almost by the springs and shocks. everytime i hit a bump i hear that noise. what do u guys think it might be?? i'm thinking the shocks aren't tight on the top where the 3 bolts are. another thing do you guys know the easiest way to get to the rear shocks/springs without taking apart the whole back seat and everything? thanks for your help.

try pushing the car up and down w/ the trunk open. it might be easier if you have a friend push while you listen.

as for accessing those 3 bolts, the only way is to rip everything apart. unless you want to cut the cardboard cover panel.

yea i did that. i opened the trunk and bounced up and down. and you can only hear that noise when i bounce up and down. so does that mean that i didn't tighten those bolts on the shock tower???

I had in my Grand Prix GT... turns out I changed the rear struts, but not the strut mounts as recommended, that's what the rattle is. Hopefully I'm years away from needing struts in the Solara...
