ya i had a white matrix (base model not even xr) but it wasnt what i wanted...the car im getting is VERY similar to my 3.0 v6 gen.1 solara....any guesses?

ha ha...yanks out of all the vets here u hit it on the nail...

i went ahead and purchased a 2001 Honda Accord Coupe Ex v6 3.0 vtec...and i believe i got a great deal...the car was listed well into the 17k range...i got it for 12,234! its fully loaded and has 40K miles...i dont know if i will be doing any mods to it however...just might install my navigation and dvd player(unless someone offers a good price)...who knows if i start something ill prob never finish...wish me luck and by the way the color is midnight green.

by the way..i need help..im looking for projector headlights for it (on the cheap) and also wanna replace the tailights to stock cuz they have altezzas on now...anyone?

I would've guessed Accord, but I thought you would do more of an upgrade. You can try ebay for that OEM navi unit, but those aftermarket have better features. BTW, why did you choose the Accord? Personally, I think the Solaras are way nicer than the Accords, even our gen1. My sis has a '02 Accord and I think the interior is way bland and 'cheap looking' compared to a gen 1. Anyways, good luck with the new ride.

honestly i didnt want the solara just because i already had one...but i wanted one similar and i got a great deal through my work (bank of america). who wouldnt jump on $6000 off!
