hey guys...im looking to blind every person i see on the road with some bright lights (haha)...so i just got some clear corners, waitin on the chromeys to match and now im trying to get some new headlights and from what i've heard the silverstars from sylvania are the way to go. i was looking on http://www.sylvaniaperformanceshop.com for the 9003STs and i think the 9006STs for my 99v6...so what im gettin at is i read in a thread that 9003s are not as bright as the 9006s or something like that? and im probably askin for it with this question but are the 9006s strictly for the fogs or can i just buy 2 sets of 9006s and stick them in all 4 sockets? or am i an idiot?
i don't know what i'm doing, i just make it up as i go

I have 9003 silverstars. You cant put a 9006 in a 9003 socket. The 9003 (aka H4) are dual filament. If someone was ambitious enough, they could try modding a 9007 to fit a 9003 - that would be really cool. Your fogs are 9006 but with a little cutting of the plastic from the bulb plug you can put a 9005 in for your fogs which throw about 700 more lumens than 9006's. Thats all the advice I can offer you now, but if you have the cash, nothing beats xenon.

p.s. you're not an idiot :bday:

Yeah don't be trying to blind anyone now. I'm taking off my 4300k HID kit this weekend cause it's too crazy without HID Projectors. Until I get some fitted into the OEM lamps they will not be on the car. I just took this pic a few minutes ago. I can imagine this kind of glare light in my rear view mirror. (Notice all the streaks coming out of the center going different directions) Trust me it's alot worse in person. I'm going with regular hyper white Halogen H4 bulbs in the mean time.
