There is a set on eBay, they are not cheap.

I dont think its a direct fit replacement either, meaning you will have to mod the bumper to get it in there. Moe (xXsolaraXx) did this mod and he selling off parts to his car. You should try contacting him, if they arent sold already :-?

You can try and retrofit HID projectors into your headlamps and stay under $200 not including bulbs and balast. I'm going to take this on soon.

Sending my lamps to these guys at http://hidtech.com

They charge $300 labor. (Not including the projectors, bulbs, and balast)

Looking at $500 - $600ish

Just like I paid for my grill to be made I'm going to pay for this to be made.

i talked to moe about it since i'm eventually going to do this. this was his reply verbatim:

"whew! Too much to say...

well first off its extremely very difficult...i had a black widow front bumper so it was easier to cut and add pieces to it to fit the s15's...its ALOT of work and ended up costing the following...

$1200 for the s15's
$750 install
$750 paint
$500 HID kit and install

basically it was almost 3500 with all the installs."

i was able to get the lights for nearly $800 so that was a flippin' steal! 8)

Whoa! Now that my friend is expensive! But would look very unique. When it comes to quality and uniqueness money ain't a thing when the desire is there.

It better look exquisite! I'm sure this isn't the easiest DIY, but I really want to see what they can do. Well if you got the money, go for it!

Hi Louis,

Thanks for your inquiry.

To be honest with you. Your aftermarket H4 HID kit will NOT be compatible with any OEM D2S xenon projectors. I would sell them first and get OEM D2S standard HID bulbs and ballasts.

Since you have H4 dual filament type of halogen bulbs, then this will leave you no choice but to use Bixenon projector, which mean you will have HID for your low and as well as high beam.

Following is a breakdown for this project:

$450 Hella HID system including Hella bi xenon projectors
$300 Rretrofit customization cost
$150 Type E projector enclosure
$50 Plug and play wire harness
$50 Return shipping and handling within the US

Let us know if you have any more questions.

Sean

1 Grand! Ouch! For some lights!
I have not seen any Solara with Retro'd projectors like that so for being a unique look is cool. I'd pay if I had some extra funds. Got about 1,300k on October 1st so I don't know. We'll see. It's coming down to that decision making again. This or the M/D lip kit. :x decisions!
