Stock talk about the Generation 1 and 1.5 Toyota Solara which were produced from 1999 to 2003.

Another CE light.

Another CE light.

So I installed my Glow Gauges with the help of Rene (thatonemexguy) :D

I had to leave and finish the installation at home so I drove home without the cluster hooked on. :-? No major issues. Got home. Finished instalation and low behold that CE light was on!!!

Anyone know if I blew something up or can I just check and clear the code and expect it to go away forever?

Thanks,
Louis

Louis, the only real way to know is to scan the code and see what is going on. There are many codes that you can scan that once cleared won't come back if it was a temporary situation. -JoeB

Thanks Joe and everyone.

I'll scan it up and get the reason. Post it here for clarity to this situation.

for the record...the CE light is now GONE!

It went away by it self. As I was going to try and fix this (Battery)^ I noticed it was gone.

Thats a relief!

I'm still going to run the scan in case there are stored codes that I can clear out. Going to use Digimoto software with their OBDII kit. Waiting for delivery.

That's a great idea. The code should still be stored and you can find out what was going on. It might be something you need to look into. I got a code saying my cat was inneficient, then it went away on it's own. I checked my a/f mixture and found I was running VERY rich. After retuning, I haven't had the code again. Let me know if you try dyno runs with the Digimoto. I couldn't ever get a usable reading. -JoeB

Sure will. Yeah I'm sure I need to feed it the most acurate numbers so I'll do my best.

I'm curious to get the sensor readings also and am very curious on the code I'm going to pull.

I'll let you know.

Thanks,
Louis
